This altcoin chart is the only one that has a chance of outperforming #Bitcoin over time (or at least not collapsing 90% against #BTC). If you’re gonna gamble 5% as a degen at least gable it on the token that’s least likely to rugpull you! Token fundamentals: -strong community -legit business -is transparent about being a security -founder goes on pods -can take cheap debt -regulated tokenimics -not illiquid garbage -billionaire backers -good looking price chart -backed by #BTC I’m a fierce #Bitcoin self custody advocate (as you know) but all the time I hear:… “I’ve got these altcoins I’m gonna sell at the top!” Every time I ask “why not MSTR?” Probably same upside without 90% less degen risk. No? Think about it. Your alt and MSTR both have a chance of 2x-4x against #Bitcoin (if you’re lucky) but the odds of a 99% rug pull are 10x less with @saylor-coin. The altcoins of the past were securities of non existent companies. The altcoins of the future are securities of legit companies pumping stocks (token) price. @MicroStrategy is the first “modern” altcoin. Honest answer: most people are in alts because they haven’t thought through the risk/reward. You’re addicted to the pump and being a gambler. Be honest with yourself and reframe “boring Microstrategy stock” into “exciting degen Saylor-coin to the moon!” I’m not saying be a degen… But if you’re gonna degen on a token and accept counter-party risk, degen on Saylor-coin. Not vaporware. Otherwise, stick to self custody #Bitcoin… as there is always counter-party risk.
