Tens of millions of dollars in Super PAC money flowed into Illinois’ primary race: crypto, AI, and dark money PACs that hide where the money came from. AIPAC spent $22 million through shell PACs and never even talked about Israel. Sadly, we’re going to see it in our primaries cepts AIPAC's support. I don’t. Dark money erodes public trust in our democratic process. That’s why I passed the strongest local law in the country – so donors have to sign their names on IEs in NYC. It’s time to get dark money out of politics.
