Back in the day (say 4 years ago) the hyped energy narrative was “Bitcoin uses more electricity than many countries…” Today’s equivalent is AI. As with every financial narrative, the story of Bitcoin/AI and electricity demand had/has a grain of truth — and ample BS. Beware.
