Rep Soto was one of the first voices in Congress to call for greater regulation of cryptocurrency to protect consumers. He filed & co-introduced Digital Taxonomy Act & Token Taxonomy Act in 2018. He passed parts of DTA out of the House this term to advance these efforts.
