First and foremost, Elizabeth Warren sabotaged this Housing Bill by killing the permanent ban on CBDCs, which is a nonnegotiable nonstarter regardless of SAVE America. thehill.com/homenews/house…

Elizabeth Warren refused to allow for a PERMANENT BAN on CBDC in the Senate Housing bill. We are going to kill it anyways due to the Senate’s inaction on SAVE AMERICA Act however, it is important for EVERYONE to know that if CBDC’s are not banned, the government can control every aspect of your life. Massively terrifying.

There are concerns about a lobbying group and their efforts to kill the Senate housing bill, but I did want to let the American people know that there’s only a temporary CBDC ban in that Senate housing package. Elizabeth Warren worked overtime to ensure that the temporary ban was in there versus a permanent ban. Any piece of legislation that fails initially can be brought back and corrected if the Senate is serious about it. Thanks for flagging @Cernovich.

@RepLuna I hope the Trump action item, from the Senate, on preventing investor syndicates from buying single family homes doesn’t get caught up in this.

If the Road to Housing Bill the Senate is sending over does not have a permanent ban on CBDC’s in it, it will die in the house. This is not negotiable. CBDC’s = No good.

Representative Anna Paulina Luna recently amplified a message that highlighted her firm opposition to Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) and digital ID systems. This action underscores her alignment with core crypto principles. This is a significant pro-crypto signal. For us, a strong stance against CBDCs is a strong stance *for* crypto. CBDCs risk creating a system of financial surveillance and control, directly opposing the principles of privacy and individual sovereignty championed by technologies like Bitcoin. By rejecting this path, a policymaker is actively preserving the space for decentralized, permissionless finance to grow. This action is not an outlier for Rep. Luna; it’s consistent with a robust pro-crypto record. She has been a vocal opponent of a US CBDC and has backed her words with action, voting in favor of key legislation like the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act (FIT21), which aims to provide much-needed regulatory clarity for digital assets. By highlighting her anti-CBDC position, she signals a deep understanding of the stakes and a commitment to protecting the future of digital financial freedom. This is why we categorize this as a 'Very For Crypto' stance.

The Senate GOP is pulling some massive trash with the NDAA meanwhile undermining POTUS with his confirmations. Guess what? NO ANTI-CBDC legislation in NDAA? Taxpayer dollars for Taliban? The same POS's that shot my husband? UKRAINE funding? NDAA in current form is NO GO sincerely WE THE PEOPLE.

Voted for a bill on 2025-07-17
Bill Name
GENIUS Act

Details
The GENIUS Act of 2025 proposes a regulatory framework for payment stablecoins. It defines permitted issuers (insured depository institutions, their subsidiaries, and approved nonbank entities) and mandates 1:1 reserve backing with specific high-quality assets. The bill outlines federal and state regulatory oversight options, sets requirements for customer asset segregation, and grants stablecoin holders priority in insolvency proceedings. It also clarifies that regulated payment stablecoins are not considered securities or commodities under various acts. The bill designates issuers as financial institutions under the Bank Secrecy Act, requiring compliance with AML, KYC, and sanctions regulations to prevent illicit finance and safeguard national security. It also reinforces U.S. leadership in digital finance by supporting innovation and ensuring the dollar remains competitive in a rapidly evolving global financial landscape.

CLARITY Act

The "Digital Asset Market Clarity Act of 2025," or "CLARITY Act of 2025," establishes a regulatory framework for digital commodities, granting the CFTC exclusive jurisdiction over spot market transactions and related entities like exchanges, brokers, and dealers. It aims to differentiate digital commodities from securities, introduce a "mature blockchain system" concept for regulatory exemptions, and protect individual self-custody rights.

This is a major victory— anti-CBDC protections will now be codified in the NDAA. Thank you, Tom. A huge win for freedom. Well done, @GOPMajorityWhip.

Attaching our Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act to the NDAA will ensure unelected bureaucrats are NEVER allowed to trade Americans’ financial privacy for a CCP-style surveillance tool. @POTUS has made it clear: our legislation is a key piece of our America First agenda, and we will deliver.

I support crypto but cannot get behind anything that allows for a backdoor to CBDC. There was a vote to allow legislation to come to the floor that would enable that to happen. Thus I voted no. Happy to support any pro-crypto bill, but I will NOT back CBDC’s.
