Any Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) that is not open, permissionless, and private - like cash - is nothing more than a surveillance tool.
Earlier this week, the House passed the NDAA, which included our bill to prohibit the development of a CBDC.
It is time for the Senate to do its job and permanently ban CBDCs!
